Hello!
We contracted help from the Pro Network to build us a custom module and have ran into a snag. Unfortunately he’s out of town for a few weeks and we need to get this particular thing working asap (client pressure). I’m hoping someone can come to the rescue!
Basically, in the module, there are fields that need to be populated with xhtml. That then gets spit out onto the front-end. However, every time we go to add the xhtml it doesn’t stick. It never shows up in the front-end and going back into the screen where we add the xhtml, the fields are blank again.
Any ideas what might be causing this?

Hey Lisa…
Nope - one guy, unfortunately. And to be perfectly honest, your answer is exactly what I expected. 😊 I tried to tell big boss man that but he didn’t listen. 😛 We think it’s a db issue but who knows? I’m no db guru/programmer so I’d be afraid to even touch the code myself. (That whole, I know enough to be dangerous bit.)
Well you can find out if it’s a db issue by going to Admin -> Utilities -> SQL Manager -> Browse Tables -> locate the tables for that module and click on a few, find the one that stores that info and see if your data is there.
I do wish we could help but troubleshooting third-party modules is difficult even when we have access to them, since we have to learn them anyway - add to that not even knowing the purpose, much less code for a module, and you reach “impossible”.
