[SOLVED] A valid sender email is required
How Do I?

I am setting up a new site with EE 6 and I am having trouble with the mail form. I have tried using PHP Mail and SMTP and both generate errors.
When I use PHP Mail I get the following error when I try and submit the form located here: http://kodiakco.us
“A valid sender email is required”
In the control panel I set email settings to use a domain specific email.
I would appreciate some help sorting this out.

Have you included an email address in the form tag

Hi Rob,
Got it sorted out. I had changed the ‘from’ field to ‘email’ which messed it up. When I changed it to this everything worked fine:

<input type="text" class="px-2" id="from" name="from" placeholder="Email*" value="" />
