Searchable gallery entries?

I know that a search function is not yet implemented in the gallery module, but if someone out there have a “custom” solution I will be glad to know about it. :down:
I hope that the gallery module in EE v1.3 supports IPTC tags (toc toc, pmachine staff ??) to set up such a search function.
I also would like to see a search capability for galleries. My wildflower gallery is approaching 200 images and will just continue to grow. I’d like to be able to find all “pasqueflowers” and so would my visitors.
If there is a customer solution, I’d be wiling to make a very modest PayPal based contribution to the author. Seems possible with SQL “LIKE %keyword%” type queries on the database in a custom template.
