Yeah, just when I wanted to resubmit, the Developer Guidelines were published. I wanted to wade through them first but still haven’t found the time to do it properly :red:.
I just updated TruncHTML to version 1.3 fullfilling a feature request.
There’s now a threshold-parameter. If set, the text is only truncated if it is actually longer than specified in the parameter.
Example:
{exp:trunchtml chars="500" threshold="600"}
{body}
{/exp:trunchtml}
The text will only be truncated if it is longer than 600 characters, otherwise the full text is returned.
