I don’t think so. I’ll tinker and check. To be honest I have been trying to find some time to look at templates as files and messing in Textmate. Perhaps that is the best way to go?
All depends on which you prefer really. I personally have always worked with the templates inside of the control panel although I have been looking at maybe changing across if I feel there’s any real merit to it. For me at the moment though I’m content with the control panel. Definitely will be different for other people though so perhaps a good time to check out both and see which you prefer I’d say 😉

Hi there, I found the tab in textarea feature doesn’t work in Safari 4 Beta :(Just to say it worked for me when I was running the Beta. I’ve been using this extension for quite a while now and have never really had any problems with it. I’m now running the Safari 4 download that is from the Apple site, not sure if that’s still considered a Beta or not but it works in that one too for me. Could you perhaps have another extension interfering with it maybe? Best wishes, Mark
I disabled all my extensions except Publish Improve (obviously) and still no dice.
Yup sure have.
Hmm not too sure then as it does work fine when I use it. I’m running 5528.16 of Safari at the moment, probably a little outdated now but works fine.
Do you have any other extensions that might be interfering with this one at all.
Also might be an idea to PM the original poster of the extension see if they have any ideas too.
Best wishes,
Mark
Does the publish improve have the possibility to remove certain fields from a custom field group for a certain group?
I have a custom field group for “Meet the Team” that I use for a number of sections, but there is one group I do not want to see one field, is there a way to hide that one field from a certain member group?
Hi, Brad.
Publish Improve doesn’t have that functionality, and at this point, I can say that it will not be modified to add that. That would be pretty far off from what I think Publish Improve should do, and from where future development with it will take it.
However, I see why you’d want an extension like that, and I think we could do one for you as a separate, custom piece of work. PM me if you want to follow up.

The button to “Modify this page” appears exploded in Firefox.
I remember EE used to have this problem with it’s other buttons but fixed it in a later release. Any fix for this?
I also had the problem with the broken button on the CP homepage. I was going to comment this section out to just disable that button, but I realized if you go to the extension settings, you can just turn that off (third option from the bottom in version 2.0.1. If you want to spend the time hacking the extension file, it’s lines 552-564. I’m pretty sure you just need to add a div or a span somewhere to get the proper background image, but I could be wrong.
