Great extension! I am using it along with several others and I have a configuration question. I am using the Solspace Tag Module and the textarea for entering tags on the publish page is showing up as a WYSIWYG and I don’t want it to. Basically I am having the same issue you where having.

I have been playing with extensions quite a bit lately. One of my other extensions required a textarea for some basic content but the old TinyMCE extension was turning it into a WYSIWYG. So I wrote my own extension that adds the TinyMCE script into the header and adds a new custom WYSIWYG field.

What configuration settings do I need to change to fix this?

Never mind I figured it out. When I changed the config settings for the extension I accidentally deleted the following line.

editor_selector : 'lg_mceEditor',

Added it back in and it works like a champ!

Update 1.3.0:

Another quick update. I have updated the extension to version 1.3.0 which adds MSM functionality and a new extension settings page.

Basically each site now has its own settings / tinymce config.

Update 1.3.2:

LG TinyMCE is now integrated with LG Addon Updater… Get notified when a new version is released.

I’ve installed the latest TinyMCE Extension and files, which was working fine until a few days ago. The dialogue boxes (to add links) don’t load properly. The box appears but there is nothing is in it, no fields or buttons. Do you know what could be causing this?

Hi,

I have been using and loving this addon for some time now as well as LG Image field - thank you very much LG!

Has anyone made a FieldFrame version of the LG Image field?

I would love to be able to use it in my FF Matrix fields for images. I am now using the nGen field type but I don’t like selecting existing images from a drop down list.
