Today we’re pleased to announce the first course added to ExpressionEngine University, a 15 part video course by Doug Black. Each lesson in the course has a corresponding forum thread that can be used for questions, comments, or other discussions around the material covered. This is currently the absolute best place to start if you’re new to ExpressionEngine or maybe have been using it for a while but still lack the complete picture. Along with Doug’s video series, we will soon be posting an in-depth written course on using ExpressionEngine 6 by Justin Alei.
Next in the works is a reorganization of all the content on ExpressionEngine University. We will be rethinking how content is structured with a focus on making it more accessible to new users and helping experienced users find the information they need quickly. After we finish shoring up the structure of ExpressionEngine University, we plan to start referencing ExpressionEngine University content in the official ExpressionEngine documentation and guiding all users to EE:U as the source of learning for all things ExpressionEngine.
Finally, we want to use this opportunity to invite the community to participate in ExpressionEngine University. If you have interest in writing content that is relevant to people who work on the web, and especially those who work with ExpressionEngine drop us a line [email protected]!!
