New Executive Roles

Now that EllisLab is transforming itself into a services company, the process by which we operate internally is undergoing a rather significant overhaul. In many ways, a product company is a much simpler operation to run than a client services agency. Add to that the demands of ongoing ExpressionEngine development and it’s safe to say that we are significantly busier today than we were a month ago.

For that reason Derek Jones and I have updated our roles. He will become our Chief Technology and Operations Officer, and I’ll be taking the helm as Chief Executive Officer. These changes will also allow us to more effectively manage our near and longer-term goals.

This is a very exciting time at EllisLab. It feels like we’re a startup again. Onward!
