Email Core error line 888 when batching

We’re writing a module that takes advantage of the email module but we’re having a bit of a problem. Whenever the mailing list size is over the batch limit we get the following error:
Notice: Undefined index: Subject in /path/core/core.email.php on line 888Everything is fine under the batch limit, but nothing goes out when over. Thoughts?
We’re using EE Version 1.6.6.

I’m having the same issue, though I’m not sending a batch, just one email.
