Relationship not working with Play or Multi Relationship enabled / error: {REL} etc...

Hi, I am having a problem with related fields, I am using the latest playa extension, here is my setup…

EXPRESSION ENGINE 1.6.6 PHP 5.2.8

PLUGINS: Playa Multi Relationship

My problem: since I moved from my local computer (which I built the site on) to my hosting account instead of getting the text displayed from the related field I am getting this:

{REL[100][show_act]fo43J8TJREL}

I had both Playa and Multi Relationship extensions installed, when these are both disabled it works fine, but when I enable them again off it goes with the above error.

This only happens on my live (Bluehost) site, but not on my local version. I have read some posts about this, but can’t seem to pinpoint a relevant answer for me (as a lot of people specified you need PHP5, which I have)

If someone could help me with this would be very grateful as my deadline draws closer and closer.
