There is no complete list right now.

There’sthe Addons Repository which is far from complete and 3rd party addons may be not all up-to-date. Then there’s a list in the Wiki which is also not complete. And a lot more can be found by searching here in the forums. The art is to find the right keywords 🙄

Ryan Masuga over at Devot://ee is currently working on “the mother of all EE addon repositories”. I’d keep an eye on that site.

thanks for your reply, I’ll check those links

wouldnt be much more easier to have a sticky thread and the creator of an addon could post in it and link us to the thread/webiste?!?!

its usually how its done.

Usually authors start their own thread for an addon here and use it for feedback from the users.

I think a sticky threads here would not only clutter the first several pages of the forum, but it could also mistaken by some that EllisLab have approved/endorsed the addon, at least to some theoretical level.

I have them all in use on my site lol (some days I feel like it). Really I don’t but came across a master list a while ago and bookmarked it, the issue was that it’s now 8 months old and a lot has changed. The thing is a list is fine but a small excerpt of what each one does would be good and example of it’s use. Included in that would be any conflicts that exist with other add-ons. Would be good to compile the top 10 add-ons used, I know that not every add-on works with every site but generally it would be a great place to start. Have the add-on away from the forum in a repository on EE so any changes would be dropped in and written over the old file. The discussion on the forums are still active but the plug-in or whatever is listed in a separate space.

Now I know there is a repository on EE but that is different from what I am talking about, every developer has to submit the add-on there first so there is no issue.
