Is there a way to set up two identical sites (staging, prod) and push an entry change form one to the other?

I want to set up a staging server where users could make changes without worry of causing issues on the live site, but if they edit an entry and it looks correct, to push that to the live site. My questions are:

  1. Is this functionality possible in EE 3?

  2. Can i also restrict the connection between the two to only localhost/same-ip?

Unfortunately, no. Syncing environments like this is a problem that plagues the web development community as a whole and no one really has a good solution. It’s a very tricky problem, sorry to say. If you come up with anything, let us know! 😊
