Trying to remove/uninstall an old third-party plugin and getting errors
How Do I?
This site used to use the Champagne plugin, but I no longer need it, and the plugin hasn’t been updated in a while anyway. When I click “remove” it goes to the warning screen and I click the “Uninstall Module” button, it goes to the page that lists the fieldtype, plugin, and extensions and they are marked to uninstall and I click “Submit” and I get an error…
Fatal error: Call to undefined method EE_Fieldtype::EE_Fieldtype() in /home/byfivecr/roeslein/system/expressionengine/third_party/champagne/ft.champagne.php on line 47
I just want to remove this completely so I quit getting errors when trying to view entries. Thanks!
I just removed the plugin files from the third party folder and that kind of worked. I’m still getting an error about the plugins tab, any way to fix this?

I ended up digging into the database and removing some stuff. This seems to have worked so far.
