Updating add-ons within Add-on Manager

Hi everyone,

I just upgrade to 3.1.2 and am taking a tour of the control panel to see what’s new / different.

In the Add-on Manager, several entries give me the option to update to newer versions. For example, I have Emoticons 1.0 installed, but there’s a button telling me to update to 2.0. Clicking the button doesn’t do anything. Should it?

The same type of button in that column lets me install other add-ons, which instantly become active… but the update button just isn’t working for me.

Any thoughts?
