Snippet not saving changes

When we edit our snippets in the control panel, the ones that do not retain changes after updating contain a script tag. I have seen a post with a similar issue, but the .htaccess solution gave me an internal server error.

I’m curious if there were alternate successful solutions to this? If it’s a server configuration issue, any specific details to resolve would be greatly appreciated!

Currently using v2.5.5
