Nexcess workflow for designers

Greets Everyone.

For anyone who is using Nexcess, what successful workflows are you using to work on sites?

My previous setup, until today, was a colo’ed Mac Mini server running Apple’s OS X Server - then I ran the same system at home on my MBP and used Git to push updates. Virtually nothing had to change between local and live servers - the config file heavily depended on env vars anyway.

Luckily I uploaded to Nexcess, changed the MYSQL user/db name and everything is running at normal.

So now that I am on Nexcess, I will be thinking over the next days on ways I should be working to update and backup changed/updated files etc.

Any insight would be very cool.
