Legacy documentation? 2.3.1 relationship field

How Do I?

Wondering if there’s any legacy documentation available somewhere? Trying to figure out how the relationship fields worked in 2.3.1

Background: I have a client whose site is running EE 2.3.1 - I tried updating to 2.11.3, but too many of their third party add ons broke, so I’m going to revert them back to 2.3.1 - need to get relationships working, but in the most recent EE2 documentation, relationships seem to function differently than they used to.

Thanks, I found that, however it looks like Relationship functionality was extensively revised in 2.6 (https://ellislab.com/blog/entry/relationships-evolved-for-expressionengine-2.6)

The 2.3.1 version doesn’t seem to function the same, so I’m trying to find older documentation for how that used to work.
