Icons in Control Panel Show as Squares
How Do I?
This has been going on for a while and I’ve updated EE a few times but the issue keeps popping up from time to time. Basically, I’ll log in to one of the sites I manage and sometimes it will show all of the icons as squares. Sometimes it does not do this. A simple refresh doesn’t fix it though. I’ve toyed around with the directories in the past but haven’t been able to fix it for good. I’m not entirely sure what triggers this or what but I’d like to fix it. Currently we are on version 3.4.2.

Hi, The icons are using a font set for the Glyphs for the icon. That way they appear quick, crisp and scale. It would suggest that either these have not uploaded correctly, or something is blocking those fints in your CP.

I have also just noticed that if you Control Pnael is setup for one domain, or subdomain, and you access it from another then FontAwesome does not load. This is more than likely the error your seeing.
