Template Caching doesn't work for {segment_2}

Hi everyone,

I’m banging my head against the wall with this one.

I have a template set up in the following way:

{if segment_1 == ''}
     {exp:channel:entries...} {content} {/exp:channel:entries}
{if:else}
     {exp:channel:entries...} {content} {/exp:channel:entries}
{/if}

I have Template Caching On for 60 minutes.

When Segment_1 is empty, I get 18 Queries instead of ~120…

When Segment_2 is not empty, the Template never caches. It stays at the top-most ~120 queries…

I’ve searched and searched and cannot find anything…

Any clues, similar experiences?
