Hello to everyone.

Thank you for reading this - I have tried finding a solution but as I am inexperienced I could not find it…

How can a user edit his added entries into a channel without visiting the back-end. The normal user does not have access to /admin.php site only me.

I have a channel form, the normal user can add entries but how can that same user edit his own entries? Can someone please tell me what to look for in the documentation?

Thank you very much, bob.

I got it 😊

the same input is used to get the data : return=”channel_name/edit/ENTRY_ID” entry_id=”{segment_3}” ….

…. so for anybody else that faces this issue…

I have form for adding entries in front-end (channel/add) and another form with the same fields (channel/modify) and when I pass the link above I get the data…

now if someone can tell me please a way I could have a button to closes the entry i would appreciate it (maybe the user does not want to modify the entry and just to close it…)

I found a way to change the status of an entry from Open to Close (and that entry is not displayed in front-end anymore) but …any ideas on how to make that a button?

Thank you all.
