This may seem like a dumb question, but I don’t see anywhere in EE where I can add an alt description to an image. What am I missing???

Like all content and resources in EE, it’s never assumed how it’s used. So a photo in the system could be used more than once, and each time the context could be different, so having something like the ALT tag as a global value isn’t always desirable.

You can include the ALT text when inserting the image into content via RTE (Rich Text Editor) or a 3rd party WYSIWYG. Or if you are instead adding the image as a channel field, then you can add a field below to include a caption/alt tag etc.

Does that make sense? If not reply back.
