Can I remove or disable ZendGuardLoader?

Hi. I maintain an ExpressionEngine site as an archive for an old podcast. Suddenly, the images stopped showing up and support at the hosting company says ZendGuardLoader is the culprit. Do you know how to get rid of it (disable or uninstall)? I can’t seem to find it anywhere. Thanks!
