GD and GD2 works fine. I switch this to ImageMagick and make sure the path is /usr/bin/ (also tried a few others just in case) and all I ever get is “Thumbnail could not be created for the image. Please make sure the thumbnail directory is writable.”

As I said uploads are fine on GD/GD2. Folders are set to 777 just to take that out of the equation. Not sure what might be wrong.

Using 4.0.4 on Linux

I would start by verifying the path by using ImageMagick on the command line. If you can’t directly call the convert command with your full path, then PHP won’t be able to either. If you’ve verified that and tried putting in the correct path and still have problems, open system/ee/legacy/libraries/Image_lib.php and remove the @ in front of the exec( command on line 590, and retry it. Make sure when you do that you have error reporting enabled, and $debug set to 1 in your admin.php and/or system/index.php files.
