Installing EE locally on Windows 10 computer

Has anyone successfully done this? I’m using IIS 10, PHP 7.2, MySQL 5.7. When I run admin.php, I get the error “Unable to connect to your database using the configuration settings you submitted.”
I can successfully connect to the database using MySQL Workbench and HeidiSQL.
The empty database exists.
I’ve double checked the credentials (root) I’m using.
What have I missed? I’ve been able to install EE on prior versions of Windows.

My guess is that PHP is missing some necessary default extensions. Try running the server wizard on your environment, it should let you know what you’re missing and how to correct it. Let me know what you find!
