After an upgrade to EE4, from EE2 we got a problem with grid fields. When we want to edit field groups, add field groups or add/change low variables we get the following fatal error:

Fatal error: Call to a member function accepts_content_type() on a non-object in /var/www/sites/impact/system/ee/EllisLab/Addons/grid/libraries/Grid_lib.php on line 665

We cleaned the field types table, and made sure every addon we use is up to date and EE4 compatible.

When i try the trick used in a previous problem here on the forum: add var_dump($field_short_name); in grid_lib

I get “Fluid_field” as return, followed by the fatal error.

This is a default EE field type, why do i get this error and how can i fix it?

Thanks!

Problem found: Matrix was updated during the EE4 upgrade. But the fieldtype was gone and never reinstalled.
