Secure RTE

The RTE allows the view of “source” to see the source code, this however allows for the input of malicious code on the site, like adding in [removed]something naughty[removed]

Is it possible within the RTE to limit the allowed tags to exclude [removed] tags so they’re just interpreted as < > safe HTML?
