Firefox & Chrome do not load Internal Stylesheets while Safari does.

Eg.

<!– Custom Stylesheet File –> <link rel=”stylesheet” type=”text/css” href=”{stylesheet=css_rules/custom}” media=”all” />

Access checked for All Groups.

Sorry for your trouble, Matahi. I’ve just tried it in Firefox and it’s working fine for me. Are you on the latest ExpressionEngine? Could you maybe take a look at the network tab on your brower’s console and see how that CSS request went? And/or, look at the URL the {stylesheet= variable generated and visit it, and see if you see your CSS or an error.

Thank You Kevin!

I’m on the latest release of ExpressionEngine. I can see my custom CSS through the network tab on the brower’s console but stylesheets do not apply even when I’m logged in. i don’t know if its related but the CP usually loads very slow and It gets stucked (LOADING…) when I try to change “Allowed member groups” through the EDIT TEMPLATE>ACCESS tab.

If you can see your CSS load through the console, it sounds like everything is wired up correctly, at least in terms of ExpressionEngine delivering your CSS. If the stylesheet isn’t applying, it sounds like the problem might be more on the front-end, some how. The only other thing I would wonder about is if the Content-Type on the request response is text/css, and if not, make sure your template is set up as a CSS template.
