Hello,

For one of out sites we recently noticed that the content_edit section of the site is now showing up blank:

i.e. /admin.php?/cp/content_edit&channel_id=9&S=0341….

It is completely blank with no errors in the browser console, and when inspected nothing is rendering in the html body.

The rest of the CMS seems to be working fine.

We are using v2.9.0 Debug Preference is set to - 0: No PHP/SQL error messages generated Display Template Debugging is set to - No

Would setting Debug Preference to 1 only show front end errors or will that help with CMS errors as well?

Are there any error logs where this issue might be reporting on the server?

Thanks

Hi Hector. Yes the errors may be showing up in your PHP error log, worth looking in there. I would also try opening up your admin.php file and searching for $debug = 0; and change it to $debug = 1;, it’s a little different than the control panel debug setting. Also please try to upgrade ExpressionEngine.

Here’s a link if you have trouble: Troubleshooting blank pages, from the ExpressionEngine documentation.
