We have a custom module that helps us to generate 1000s of pages with a content that comes from a custom table in DB.
I am looking for a search solution in EE for the whole website. Would you recommend a particular module for that?
Just so I’m clear- you need to be able to search a custom table and integrate that search with the regular entry and channel field search, presenting the returned data as a unified whole?
And you’ll need a way to link to the custom content pages as well, correct?
That’s sounding like it’s going to take a custom add-on. You might check out Low Search and see if it’s possible to use a hook to pull in a custom table. But just looking at them, nothing is jumping out.
But it’s worth investigating, as it’s the best option I can think of without building from the ground up.
