Is there any?

At its simplest, I need to create a simple mechanism to get and then upload a file to a specific files directory and for various reasons do not want to use the channel form file uploader. It would look like that I can do this via the Files class, but I cannot find any documentation for it… I’m sure it is there somewhere… any clues would be most welcomed.

Thanks in advance etc.

Here you go! https://docs.expressionengine.com/latest/development/legacy/libraries/file-uploading.html

FWIW, I just typed “upload” into the user guide search. 😉

Thanks! I did see that earlier but once again got confused by the “legacy” aspect…. As far as I can tell (for example) the Files class has similar functions.

But this will certainly do the job. Thanks again for speedy response.
