Update from 2.11.9 to 5.3.0 - Gridfields not editable in CP anymore

Hi I updated from 2.11.9 to 5.3.0 and now I cannot edit the grid fields again in CP. Also I cannot open all channels to edit channel settings. When I open an entry which contains a grid field, I can edit the entry. I cannot create new fields for a channel but I can edit an existing channelfield which is not a grid field
Does anybody know what could be the reason? Thanks

This one was a bear, but looks like it was a case of a third party fieldtype being used, but not being in the exp_fieldtypes table. It was throwing a hidden:
Uncaught Error: Call to a member function accepts_content_type() on boolean in system/ee/EllisLab/Addons/grid/libraries/Grid_lib.php:691Fix was to add it to exp_fieldtypes
