Run EE Tags in an entry

Does anyone know if it’s possible to run EE tags in an entry? I want to embed a form from an add-on but it is not parsing the tags, just displaying them literally?

you can post link and ee Version, or is a custom Addon?

The Add-on is Freeform and EE is the latest version - so I want to be able to use the FreeForm tags to embed a form within a particular post. Currently, I’m putting the form in the template and running an if statement based upon the entry_id to embed the form - but moving forward when lots of forms are needed, I want them in the entry rather than the template.
