My website has 45 users who can make edits in EE. Could the number of users cause my website to be slow to load? Could the users usage in the EE backend cause the website to slow? Could how they are stored in the database slow the website for the public?

Thanks for any help you can provide!

Hi, It is very unlikely the number of users is the issue here. Users are stored in the database, as per articles and page entries, etc, etc.

It is more likely that the users working on the backend are putting load onto the hosting / server, and tying it up. If all 45 people are reading and writing to the CMS and therefore server at the same time, it could be a load issue or concurrent user issue. Are they uploading / downloading big files? Ar they doing lots of complex queries to the database?

Also what about the front end usage? Are you getting a lot of traffic? How is the site being used? Etc.
