Question re RSS and/or Email
How Do I?
Hi guy,
I have been out of blogging for a while and just now starting again after a few years. Back in the day RSS was the thing but I’m seeing now it’s not used so much and email subscriptions seem to be the preferred mode.
My questions re this are:
Is RSS needed anymore?
Is email subscription a replacement or do you guys use both?
Are there any plugins/tutorials or recommendations for implementing mail subscriptions? (latest EE version)

Personally I love RSS feeds so I can collate stuff I want to read in one place, plus clients who want to auto-post to social media use RSS as a way of connecting via a service like Dlvr.it.
RSS still has its uses, sure it might not be as popular as it once was, but still worth offering to your readers so they have a choice.
By “subscriptions” do you mean along the lines of sending out a weekly digest or something like that?
