Hi all. I am relatively new to ee but resonably confident in html and css. Using a localhost I have been going through a tutorial I found in a book on packtpub.com and have noticed that the footer element on the pages is not displaying in the correct location at the bottom of the pages. I have used browser tools to examine page source and can see that everything is identical to the original files I began from - this includes the included style sheet ( that I have made a css template from).
The minimal footer is displaying near the top of my page below the header and menu divs thus overlaying the ee-generated page content section.
It’s got me beat. Everything else is as expected so I am confident that my process is correct. Has anyone got a suggestion? I can supply supporting docs or screen shots if requested. Thanks.
oops!! On closer inspection of one of my partial templates I found a paste error had left the final div tag improperly closed. Once corrected the page display came right. Sorry for the bother.
