Hello all,
I ran into a curious bug today after moving my site to a new server. The “return” path in the Freeform module was written out using / instead of a forward slash.
I figured this had something to do with the server, but had no idea what, so I knocked together a very quick extension to solve the problem. In case anybody else runs into this problem (or has a similar need to parse certain characters prior to rendering the form), here it is.

Monooso,
I’m guessing that this is actually a bug on the part of FreeForm. We recently found a similar bug in our login form code that I just fixed yesterday. Either way, the next build of EE should prevent it from being an issue in the future. But you may want to let Solspace know that he should get those slash entities turned into real slashes when generating the form code in his module.

Hey Jamie,
I also posted my “solution” to the Solspace forum, only to be informed (very politely) that this bug was fixed in the last release (2.5.9).
You can view my humiliation, along with a handy link to download the latest version of Freeform at http://www.solspace.com/forums/viewthread/434/.
Cheers Stephen
