Automated Mailing List Module?

Does anyone know if there is a custom module that will allow integrating a mailing list with a calendar so I can send out specific mailing lists based on the event that’s on the calendar? I’d like to set up all my mailing lists in advance and have them run on their own when the specified date arrives.
