repeet: exclude dates not working

I’m using the repeet plugin for an event calendar. I have one events repeat interval set to “This relative day of the month” and have set some exclude dates but they are not being removed from the calendar. I changed the repeat interval to daily and it removes the excluded dates fine. Is there a bug in “this relative day of the month” setting? I’m using the most recent version of the plugin. Everything else is working fine.
