Hi,
I’m in the middle of creating a holiday lettings site using Expression Engine and the RepEEt plugin. I’ve got it all working with one booking calendar… but what I was wondering is whether it is possible to power multiple booking calendars using the same weblog.
For example:
There is a weblog called Properties, which holds the letting properties. In this weblog there are 3 properties (A, B and C for example)
There is another weblog called Booking for the availability of the properties. What I would like is a drop down on the publish screen which will have “A”, “B”, “C” and depending on which one is selected it will add it to the relevant property.
I was thinking maybe the “search:” parameter or categories might be able to accomplish this?
Any help would be appreciated. 😊
Thanks

I know for a fact that categories will work for you; I’ve seen many examples of that implementation in place. The search parameter will probably work, too, but I haven’t seen it in action yet. If you take that route, be sure to let me know if it works for you.
Hi,
Still having some problems with this.
I’ve tried adding a normal EE weblog tag with the category_group parameter but that doesn’t seem to work. Where should I add the category parameter? I’ve tried it before the RepEEt tags and after them.
Also, should there be any problem with having a weblog within a weblog? As I have the property weblog and within that I want to have the booking calendar.
Final question… Is there any other way to handle the next/back month on the calendar? AJAX maybe? At the moment when it changes the URL it messes up the other weblog.
Thanks 😊
