Hi,

I need to insert a php script to be run after a stand alone entry form is submitted and validated. If this is possible, what would the recommended way to accomplish this be?

Any direction is appreciated.

Thanks Steve

Example: Step 1. User submits stand alone entry form. Step 2. Data is inserted into EE database Step 3. Custom script makes SOAP request to external API.

You may want to look at extensions, and the weblog_standalone_form_end hook.

Thanks for the tip! I’ll look into that further. Will this permit me to add the functionality to a single weblog form (but not all forms)?

Thanks again.

You can find information about Extensions in the Development Documentation. The link to the hook was really just to get you started. =)
