Hi,

Just getting into EE - top notch well done! 😊

I’ve got LG tinyMCE installed and working on two weblogs. Is it possible in any way to have a different tinymce configuration for each of my weblogs.

One blog is edited by a group of members and we don’t want to give them the ability to add images or headings via tinymce.

The other blog is edited by a group called ‘super authors’ and we do want to give them the ability to add images and headings (h1 h2 etc) via tinyMce.

I can figure out the LG Tinymce settings but don’t know if its possible to set them on a per blog basis?

If its not possible has anyone got any ideas on how I may solve this?

Many thanks

Marc

What’s the trick for getting this extension working, I’ve been trying for days.

Thanks

James

Jim,

I followed the wiki page - http://expressionengine.com/wiki/TinyMCE/

I couldn’t get it working at first but the ‘trick’ for me was getting the correct path to tinymce.js file, then just change the field type to WYSIWYG in the custom field settings in weblog administration.

Hey guys,

Just found this post….

Having different configuration for each weblog would be a pretty big task to implement. I can’t see it happening as part of the core plugin release but it should be pretty easy to hard code if you really need it.

Check the source for where the settings are implemented and change them based on the weblog_id. Sure its not pretty but if your the only one working on the site it will do the job.

Cheers Leevi
