Hello,

I seem to get a very strange parse error in a specific template when showing one specific entry. The error is as follows:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in [my-path]/core/core.functions.php(637) : eval()'d code on line 1272

It shows up on this page: http://www.djbooth.net/index/tracks/review/the-cool-kids-what-up-man/

I have thousands of entries that show using this template and as far as I can tell, this is the only entry that spits out this error.

Could it be something in the comments or the entry itself that causes the error?

ok, so i limited the number of comments and kept increasing it until i found the specific one that triggered the error. The comment seemed pretty normal but it ended in […]. I took out the three periods and it works fine now.

The odd thing is that other comments on this page end with 3 periods as well, but they do not trigger an error.

I have the comments surrounded by an html strip tag, could that cause some problems? This is very odd.

Was the three dots perhaps a character entity or a weird character instead of actual three dots in a row?

Nope, I even have the comments field within html strip tags to strip out any code that might make its way in. Its very weird.
