Some Extensions break Custom Field type assigment

Hello,

I’ve noticed that several extensions break the custom field type assignment. That is, when I create a new custom field and choose the field type, the usual drop-downs or (other stuff that appears to the right) does not appear. When I go back in to EDIT a custom field, then I see it.

This has happened with Playa and Mark Huot’s File extension. In the case of Playa, I found that it conflicted with LG TinyMCE Extension. If I disable LG TinyMCE, I can create custom fields of type “Playa”.

Does this happen to others?

I’m using Firefox 2 on PC.
