LG Image Manager Question

I am not familiar with the Moxiecode Image Manager, although I do use tinyMCE. I am wondering if I use the LG Image Manager extension, if it will do what I want. Basically, I want an image upload field that will create a thumbnail of a pre-specified size along with a large sized image of a pre-specified size. Is this something that can be accomplished with this solution?

James,

I’m using this extension and it won’t allow you to crop images. It functions as a file browser, but doesn’t have any higher level image editing.

James if you want to upload an image and then be able to down-size it to other versions then your best bet would be to use the File extension to upload the original, (largest size you will need) image and then use the Image Sizer plugin to create your smaller versions dynamically for you.

Hope that helps a bit.

Best wishes,

Mark

yea… i have used the file extension in the past. i have just been a little hesitant lately to use it because Mark’s support of it has fallen off somewhat (mostly just because i know he has been super busy).

i was hoping maybe this extension would be a replacement… but it sounds like it isn’t!
