Hello,
This plugin generates URLs and HTML tags for images formatted by SlideShowPro Director - http://slideshowpro.net/ . You can specify the format for the thumb and large images.
It’s not finished yet, and if anyone finds it useful, I’d appreciate bug reports and suggestions for missing functionality.
You can request a single image, a number of images from a Director gallery or album capped by a limit parameter, or all images from a gallery or album.
Thanks.

This is what I’m looking for. Will it work with hosted SSP Director?
Edit: I’m testing with hosted SSP Director; already enabled access to external domain 1. failed to view image when opening {large_img_url} 2. ssp_fetch:gallery_content will output ‘DirectorAPI Error: Your account is not authorized to load this gallery.’ 3. ssp_fetch:gallery_list -> able to view the list; but with no other variables provided I’m unable to go into the list
Looking forward for this awesome plugin.
It’s displayed when you double-click an image in an album,

Please post your plugin tags for each of the above. Is your Director path set to something like ‘youraccountname.slideshowpro.com’ ?

My path has been set aeran.slideshowpro.com
Hi Andrew - this plugin seems like just what I’m looking for - but I haven’t been successful in getting it working yet. I’m using the latest version of Director - 1.2.10 and the most recent php class release. It’s not breaking, it just doesn’t load any images…
Hi justjess, try the new version attached to the 1st post - fixed some bugs. Please let me know if it works.
Yes - I actually just downloaded and tested it yesterday. There was a problem with the $dead variable in two places in the file, which I commented out in the hopes of jump-starting the rest of production, but to no avail.
The Director code seems to be changing so quickly that what works one week doesn’t the next. I had previously tried just working with api code directly in my EE templates - but that constantly broke as well. There were conflicts between the EE core code thinking that Director variables and functions were part of EE. It’s frustrating, because it seems like it’s pretty close, but it’s just eluding me…
justjess, the dead variable checks whether the connection to Director was successful or not. Have you been able to connect to Director with your own code?
I’m using the plugin with SlideShowPro v1.2.10 and DirectorPHP 1.0.2.
Please post a link to your template or the error you are seeing.
I’ve got various sites working that connect to the API, but have not been able to successfully get any Director php code to work from within EE templates. There seem to be a lot of conflicts. I had to pull out the test as this is a production site that is about to launch - but I will get a hidden url in place and send you something to look at asap. I appreciate the continued response - I’m thinking this is def. a Director issue, but it’s hard to tell.
Jess
