Tag Module tab on Publish / Edit page painfully slow

When I go to publish or edit a weblog entry in the Control Panel, the form takes FOREVER to load. Using Firebug, I think I’ve tracked it down to the Tag tab that’s created by the Solpace’s Tag 2 module.
It looks like it’s hanging on this request:
http://domain.com/system/index.php?S=0&ajax=jquery GET /system/index.php?S=0&ajax=jquery HTTP/1.1
Any thoughts?

What Version/Build of ExpressionEngine and the Tag Module are you running?
Do you have any other extensions installed?

nothing is jumping out at me, although I would highly recommend that you update to EE 1.6.4, as it’s an important bug and security fix.
Since the Tag Module was authored by Solspace, I’m going to shift this thread down to the “modules” forum, and I would recommend posting on Solspace’s forums to get the quickest response from them.
