Iam using Parse URL plugin v1.1.1 in the comments.

{exp:parse_url parts="host"}{comment}{/exp:parse_url}

The result is “www.any-domain.com”. That’s OK. It’s what I want.

The problem show up when any text is before the link. The link is parsed, but not hyperlinked + there are strange numbers. See screenshot.

Hi Gabriel, I have had a similar problem. See this thread. http://ellislab.com/forums/viewthread/130218/

For the time being I have removed the parse-url Plugin.

Have you come up with a better solution to both: shortern URLs and not create a bug in the XHTML … ?

Thank you.
