HI,

I used EE 1.6.6, after I installed LG Tiny MCE and would like to enable it, I got the following error :

Notice: unserialize() [function.unserialize]: Error at offset 65522 of 65535 bytes in /home/abcde/public_html/adminpanel/extensions/ext.lg_tinymce.php on line 1098

Notice: unserialize() [function.unserialize]: Error at offset 65522 of 65535 bytes in /home/abcde/public_html/adminpanel/core/core.extensions.php on line 218

Anyone encountered this problem?

I haven’t experienced this problem, but thought I’d add the one I’m having and see if we can all get answers.

I uploaded the TinyMCE file as instructed, along with the extension I got from the EE add ons pages, put the ext prefix file in the sys/extensions folder and the lang prefix file in the sys/languages/english folder as instructed in the EE Wiki instructions. The TinyMCE files themselves are in the root directory. This is what I get when I try to log into EE:

Warning: call_user_func_array() [function.call-user-func-array]: First argument is expected to be a valid callback, ‘Lg_tinymce::show_full_control_panel_end’ was given in /www/eh9158/public_html/zasys/core/core.extensions.php on line 262

Hope it’s okay to piggyback on the first problem; if not, let me know and I’ll post separately.

Thanks. Do you mean to remove the extensions from the site, then upload them again?

The Wiki instructions are ambiguous as to where the files go. I know I put the TinyMCE file into my root folder. Then in Method 1 in the Wiki instructions, it says to “Upload the extension to your system folder.” I can’t tell if this means the whole folder that is unzipped from the download, or just the specific ext. prefix file. Method 2 directs the latter course, but I suspect it’s referring to different files.

Extensions go into /system/extensions/ without excpetion (of course “system” can be different if you renamed it).

Ingmar: thanks. My question remains: do I move the whole folder that I unpacked from the EE add on site into the /system/extensions folder, or do I take the separate files and move the ext. prefix file into the /system/extensions folder and the lang. prefix file into the system/languages folder?

thanks, BZ

The latter. Again, always 😉 (Actually, it’s system/languages/engllish or whatever, but I suppose that’s what you meant).

Ingmar: I uninstalled all of the TinyMCE code and reinstalled it in the root directory. I deleted both the ext. and lang. prefix files from the extensions and languages/english folders in the /system folder, and then reinstalled them. I got to the sign on screen in my EE account, then got the following error message:

Warning: call_user_func_array() [function.call-user-func-array]: First argument is expected to be a valid callback, ‘Lg_tinymce::show_full_control_panel_end’ was given in /www/eh9158/public_html/zasys/core/core.extensions.php on line 262

What to do?

Ingmar: here’s an update. I downloaded the newer version of LG_TinyMCE from their website, and removed the old ext. prefix and lang. prefix files from their respective places and uploaded the newer versions of them. Now this is what I get when I try to log into EE:

Notice: Undefined index: 1 in /www/eh9158/public_html/zasys/extensions/ext.lg_tinymce.php on line 1106 Notice: Undefined variable: LANG in /www/eh9158/public_html/zasys/extensions/ext.lg_tinymce.php on line 825 Fatal error: Call to a member function line() on a non-object in /www/eh9158/public_html/zasys/extensions/ext.lg_tinymce.php on line 825

“zasys” is what my system file is called.

I tried removing the ext. and lang. files altogether since the TinyMCE documentation does not suggest they are needed. Then I get the original error message when I try to log in that tells me the ext. php file is missing.

I could really use some definitive help with this so I can get back into my site to manage it.

I am sorry, I am not familiar with TinyMCE, nor with the LG extension. Perhaps the various threads in the “extensions” can shed some light on the issue, or you can see for help there?
