<p> </p> tags being inserted into image custom field box

We have the LGImageManager installed and it was working perfectly.

We moved servers, and since then it has been inserting tags into image custom field boxes, forcing my alt text to display, rather than the image.

They get removed when i change the custom field type to text input, resave the article, and then change them back to LGImageManager types.

I do not think it is an issue w/ the image manager plugin, but maybe i am overlooking something. It seems to be EE causing the issue.
