This is a very simple extension that adds links to the edit/publish that expand or collapse all fields. A client requested the feature for a weblog with a pile of custom fields…
Requires the JQuery for Control Panel extension (included in EE 1.6.6). You can change the text for the links in the language file.
This is my first extension, so any feedback/suggestions would be welcome. I hope it someone finds it useful.
UPDATE: Fixed location of toggle links now version 1.0.1

Hi Brent,
A nice little add-on that one. Great for if you have tons of fields and need to get to one fast. Personally I would like to see the links somewhere other than where they are located now because if you have the - Display Formatting Buttons - option turned off in your weblog preferences then the links kind of roll over the url_title field which is a little odd. This extension actually reminds me a little of the one that Cocoaholic made some time back although yours adds in the links which is great.
Nice addition and thanks for sharing with everyone.
Best wishes,
Mark
Hey! I just plugged it into a site that has several weblogs with lots of fields. Wonderful extension, thank you!
I feel like I’m one step closer to my “publishing page holy grail,” where multiple fields are grouped as sections one can label, and those sections are collapsible. This is pretty good for quickly locating fields, though.
